Prairie Light Shutters

4 panels, each 16"x48" stained glass, lead came, cherry and wenge woods. 2008

This is my first collaboration with my friend, Joe Guida, master woodworker. His work is influenced by Stickley furniture builders. This is half of a shutter set. The stained glass panels are adapted from Frank Lloyd Wright designs. The shutter is on display at the Coconino Center for the Arts as part of The Elemental show in Flagstaff, Arizona through Dec 20th, 2008. It is a beautiful example of the functionality of stained glass.
